At Everbuild, we strive to create a fair and transparent platform for freelancers and hiring parties. However, we understand that disputes may arise. Our Conflict Resolution Policy is designed to provide a structured process to resolve such issues.
Step 1: Direct Communication
- Freelancers and Hiring Parties: We encourage both parties to communicate openly and attempt to resolve the dispute directly.
- Time Frame: This step should be completed within 7 days of identifying the issue.
Step 2: Mediation
- Initiating Mediation: If direct communication fails, either party may request mediation through Everbuild’s platform.
- Mediator: Everbuild will appoint a neutral mediator to facilitate discussions.
- Time Frame: Mediation should be completed within 14 days.
Step 3: Arbitration
- Initiating Arbitration: If mediation is unsuccessful, either party may request arbitration.
- Arbitrator: Everbuild will appoint an independent arbitrator to make a binding decision.
- Time Frame: Arbitration should be completed within 21 days.
Confidentiality
All parties must maintain confidentiality throughout the conflict resolution process.
Compliance
Failure to comply with the resolution process may result in penalties, including account suspension.

Scenarios:
Scenario 1: Non-Delivery of Services
If a freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon services, the client can report the issue. We will facilitate communication between the parties to resolve the issue. If no agreement is reached, we may refund the client and take appropriate action against the freelancer.
Scenario 2: Quality of Work
If a client is unsatisfied with the quality of work, they can report the issue. We will encourage the freelancer to revise the work. If the issue persists, we may refund the client and review the freelancer’s account.
Scenario 3: Disappearance of a Party
In the event that either the freelancer or client becomes unresponsive or disappears during the course of a project, Everbuild will attempt to contact the missing party. If the party remains unresponsive, the funds in escrow will be handled according to the terms of the contract and our Terms of Service.
Scenario 4: Misconduct
If a user reports misconduct by another user, we will investigate the issue. If we confirm the misconduct, we may take action, including suspending the offending user’s account.
This policy is designed to ensure a fair and respectful environment for all Everbuild users. We reserve the right to update this policy as needed to maintain the integrity of our platform.
